Welcome to the Wild Coast

We are located where the rolling Tuscan hills meet the Tyrrhenian Sea. Hosted within the Terre di Sacra estate—a protected WWF Oasis established in 1968—our "campus" is 1,000 hectares of dunes, pine forests, and wild beaches. It’s a place where history meets nature, just 15 minutes from the medieval village of Capalbio.

A Refuge for Nature (and You).

Earthbound is hosted within Terre di Sacra, a breathtaking 1,000-hectare estate that spans the southern Tuscan coast. This isn't just "countryside"; it is a sanctuary. Established in 1968 as one of the first WWF Oases in Europe, the land is aggressively protected and wildly beautiful.

As you walk the private roads, you aren’t just seeing trees; you are walking among sand dunes, pine forests, and the sparkling waters of the Burano Lake. Keep your eyes open—the lagoon is home to wild flamingos, and the skyline is dominated by an ancient Saracen tower that has watched over this coast for centuries

Unapologetically Italian

We are located on the border of Tuscany and Lazio, just 15 minutes from Capalbio, a medieval town perched on a hill that looks like it was frozen in time. This is the heart of slow living.

This isn't a tourist trap; it’s a working agricultural region. Our community life revolves around the seasons:

  • Harvests: Depending on the cohort, you might find yourself helping with the olive harvest or learning about wine-making.

  • Exploration: Spend your weekends boat-tripping around the Argentario promontory, exploring the vineyards of Montalcino, or soaking in the thermal baths of Saturnia.

  • Community: We organize communal pizza making nights and wine tastings because, here, community is built around the table

5-Star Living in the Wild

The "Eco-Lodge": Your 80sqm bungalow features two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a working kitchen, and a private outdoor deck. It’s fully climate-controlled with heating and AC, so you are comfortable whether it's a crisp spring morning or a warm autumn eve

The Amenities: When you aren't working, you’re living the resort life. We have heated swimming pools (one for you, one for the kids), a spa, and tennis and padel courts.

The Sea: The beach isn't a drive away—it’s your front yard. You can walk to the water, and there are numerous restaurants right on the sand.

Hidden, Yet Connected

You might feel like you’ve stumbled into a secret world, but Earthbound is surprisingly easy to reach. We are nestled right on the sun-drenched border between Tuscany and Lazio, giving you the best of both iconic regions. While the estate feels like a secluded sanctuary—worlds away from traffic and noise—we are strategically located just over an hour from Rome. It’s the ultimate sweet spot: wild enough to truly disconnect, but connected enough to make your arrival a breeze

  • Getting here is a breeze. We are located just one hour and fifteen minutes from Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO). It’s an easy drive up the coast, making international connections simple for our global families

  • While you can rent bicycles to explore the estate, we highly recommend having a car to maintain your family's independence. It gives you the freedom to do supermarket runs, visit the pharmacy, or take weekend trips to nearby Siena or Saturnia

  • You can skip the morning traffic. Terre di Sacra provides a private van with a driver to shuttle the kids to school each morning. It’s a safe, quick 13-minute drive (10km) along a flat private road bordering the beach
